No sweat.. Have you thought about setting up your other BBS' as a point off your main system? Makes it easier to just add BBS' I have 2 other BBS'which are points off of my main BBS. Works out well as I can add or remove BBS' as I see fit..

I assume you still need to be assigned a node number, correct? I would like to learn more.

Right now, he's connecting to the FTN<>QWK gateway, so he doesn't have a node number.

That is how I run my test system here as well. I just assign it a point address. It makes it easier to turn on and off as needed.

Not at all, you use your current number plus a .1 for the first BBS, then set it up as a downlink from your main BBS so your main BBS exports to the .1 also. I can go into more detail if you wish..

    Hi -- looks good here.

Without looking at your application ... what OS and BBS software are you running? It'd be interesting to see what others are using for their BBS.

As for me, this system is being ran on a vServer using Synchronet. Synchronet was the first BBS software I started with when I returned to the scene back 2009. It's been a really fun voyage and hope for many many more years.

And, thank you for your interest in WhisperNet.

On this system, hobby-bbs.com, I am running Synchronet on a Winsows server, and all is well.

On my other system, hobbylinebbs.com, I am running Winserver in conjuntion with Platinum Express which is a Santronics product as well, and Internet Rex, on a Windows machine.

I am conecting to your hub, but don't receive any response back. It's probably something on my end. I will look into that today.

Hi -- I'll check it out here in a few and see what might be going on. Make sure you have a packet password set. I'll check the node 316:36/57 and see if there's a connection. We'll get it sorted one way or another.
