Weird link. It gave me a JSON error page but then the game was added
to my library anyway? Also, the game shows up as costing $1.99 if you
go to the it's store page directly
    (https://www.gog.com/en/game/silence). /AND/ the 'free give-away'
offer didn't show up on GOG's front page until *after* I claimed the
    game.

    So, all-in-all, typically GOG web-design, I guess.

Oh well, free game. Thanks rms for the heads up.

Yeah, thanks rms. I did get the same JSON error but it was added to my

Yeah. I love their ethos but man, when it comes to web-design (and
marketing ideas) those guys need a major refresh.

I suspect this particular problem was caused because they just ran
another give-away for the "Nexus: Jupiter Incident" give-away a few
days ago and it caused some confusion in the code. Possibly the
give-aways set a 'already claimed this game' cookie or something from
the first-giveaway that hadn't expired yet.

It's always better to point to the game's store-page than link to the
generic give-away URL anyway... if only so people can see what game
    they are claiming first. ;-)

Yeah but the free game gets lost on the webpage

I actually meant the page specific to the game being given away,
rather than just the GOG front-page.

So https://www.gog.com/en/game/silence (the page for the game Silence)
rather than https://www.gog.com (main page) or https://www.gog.com/giveaway/claim (which is the URL the 'give-away'
    button actually links too).

    But whatever works, really. ;-)
