    Update:

Paradox has decided to include the Lasombra and Toreador clans in the
base game rather than add them in as day-one DLC. To soothe the people
who paid for the Premium Edition (where the Lasombra and Toreador
clans were the bonuses that made the Premium Edition so premium), they
are getting a free cosmetic pack and an expansion pass that will add
in two other DLC packs for free once they are released in 2026.

I mean, honestly I don't care too much. Like I've said, I've only
marginal interest in the franchise, and even if I were a big fan, the
fact that the game is being released by 'there-is-no-such-thing- as-too-much-DLC' Paradox Interactive would make me hesitate to buy the
game. Their games always make me feel like I'm on an endless treadmill
of spending trying to get the 'complete package'*. So these changes
don't really affect me. Ultimately, I think nothing will really change
anyway; Paradox is _still_ gonna nickle-and-dime Vampire fans to death
    with endless DLC releases.

But it's good to see they bowed to public pressure, at least a little.

    * I already have a game like that, and it's called "Eurotruck
Simulator 2", thank you very much! ;-)

Indeed. I think I'll wait for the GOTY edition on sale in a couple of years.

If it's a typical Paradox game, you'll probably be waiting a long,
long time. Some of their games _never_ receive a full 'game of the
year' repackaging with all the DLC.

Maybe because they were a game, and it was indeed a year, but it was
never so good as to be game of the year.
