• I'm Sure That FSB Hides In My Closet

The average GNU/Linux distro is riddled with various security features.
    Some might even say "crippled:"

    https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Security/Features

BUT THIS IS STILL NOT ENOUGH!!!

Every time I shut my computer down I can hear noises in my closet.
I am absolutely certain that there is an FSB agent hiding inside
and just waiting to execute a "cold boot attack:"

    <https://www.kicksecure.com/wiki/Cold_Boot_Attack_Defense>

But I am ready. I have added two defensive tools that the distros
    fail to include:

C'mon you bastards! I know that you're out there and just drooling
to get into my system. But I am loaded for bear! C'mon!
    I dare you!

I suspect a raccoon..but I would be highly amused if any FSB agent had
    any interest in me whatsoever.
The way to stay safe online is not to have anything that could be used
against you online, in the first place///still less lurking on a server surrounded by firewalls and extra security.
What ARE you trying to hide?

Yes! The FSB are masters of disguise!

    You miss the point.

The average GNU/Linux distro is literally crippled with various
security "features." These features may be appropriate for
public-facing server environments but they are totally unnecessary
    for stand-alone workstation desktops.

Yet no one seems to notice or care.

The distros have, so far, omitted RAM scrubbing on system shutdown
but I would not be surprised if this "feature" were not implemented
    in the near future.

Fortunately, I am not affected by such security paranoia but that's
    only because I don't use a distro.

I don't suspect a raccoon; the little bastard makes a lot of noise when he
is raiding the cat food dispenser ar 3 AM, but not as much as the goddam magpies at 6 AM. I don't expect the cat to take on the coon but she could
at least do something about the birds.

Ob Linux: Fedora 44 made it to the 7.1.3 kernel today. Didn't break
    anything so far.

Whoo hoo! Blowman has a pet kitty cat.

Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha! He has always given
evidence of being a fucking pussy, but this seals the proof.

I suppose that toxoplasmosis has rotted his brain.

Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!

Ob Linux: when I was a child I used to set kitty cats on fire.
Filthy fucking animals. Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!

That rather suggests that in fact, you are.

I knew you are living in an asylum. You are not alone in your own home.
If you were living in your own home (your mom basment as DFS pretends or
in your own home is irrelevant here), you would be able to check your
closet to find out if your mom is there or if they are empty.

If you can't check your own closet to be sure, it's because you are
sharing your closet with your "roommates" in an asylum.

I am absolutely certain that there is an FSB agent hiding inside

That's the reason why you are living in an asylum. The reality is:
nobody cares about you. The Russian government won't spent a rouble on
you and having a FSB spies on you would cost them a lot of money for
    nothing.

Russians are far from stupid: they know what they do and why they do it.
When they managed to get a spy in the US land, it's not to go in your
home. It would be a waste of ressources. And they don't do that for fun.

Once again you proved you don't understand what you are speaking about.
To be able to read the RAM after the power is off is to have physical
    access to that computer.

But accessing the RAM after the power has been shut is only the last way
to get information after everything else failed. If a spy was dedicated
on you, the easiest way to get the information would be to read your
hard drive. And as you are running your computer as root, I don't
believe your hard drive is encrypted. And even if it were they wouldn't
hide in hope you leave your computer just at the same time you shut it
down. They would have better way to get any information they want:

    https://xkcd.com/538/

Now stop living in a dream and wake up. Stop citing websites you don't understand and start to learn Linux. For real.

Ubuntu/RedHat/Etc. certainly would disagree. That's why they load up
(cripple) their distros with huge amounts of security "features."

These developers should create several different versions of their distros, some which are hardened with security and others which are not.

Gentoo does exactly this by offering a hardened "profile" and other non-hardened profiles, and a Gentoo user can also configure the security features himself.

But as I have indicated many times already, distro developers are both
lazy and incompetent. To save themselves the labor they will offer
only one, ingle distro version. This selfish behavior violates the
principle of free and open software.
