Because of the fact that Linux Mint doesn't bother to provide a window whenever you're switching screen modes (like mirror, extend, built-in
screen only) to give you an idea of what the next mode is, I decided to
look into Ubuntu. I knew Ubuntu provided it, I just needed to know
whether the distribution has improved enough since the previous
long-term version. To my surprise, it's actually quite polished, fast
and stable. It's definitely worth a look for those people who don't want
to be troubled with tinkering. Yes, even Snap is responsive now.
I tried to test Ubuntu 26.04 to see if Trelby would install in it.
Several attempts. I kept getting a "No magic key" (or something like
that) error. So I gave up.

Don't forget that Ubuntu 26.04 is Wayland only, so if Trelby requires X
in any way, it would run through XWayland. My experience in XWayland,
with games anyway, has been overwhelmingly positive though.
