Unless you are an utter fool, you will be using Gentoo.
Today I needed to update both icu and the boost libraries:
<
https://icu.unicode.org/>
<
https://www.boost.org/>
These are extremely critical libraries that are used by
a LOT of packages. But Gentoo pulled them all in and built
them all according to my strict specifications. I didn't
need to lift a finger.
Here they are:
dev-util/mdds
app-text/libmspub
app-text/libqxp
media-libs/libcdr
media-libs/libzmf
dev-libs/libixion
dev-libs/liborcus
dev-libs/libxml2
dev-cpp/libcmis
media-libs/libvisio
app-text/libebook
media-libs/harfbuzz
app-text/gspell
net-ftp/filezilla
media-libs/raptor
app-office/libreoffice
media-libs/libzmf
app-text/libabw
app-text/libepubgen
app-text/poppler
dev-cpp/eigen
dev-lang/swig
dev-libs/imath
dev-python/pybind11
media-libs/libfreehand
media-libs/libpagemaker
dev-libs/librevenge
app-text/libetonyek
app-text/libmspub
app-text/libqxp
app-text/libwpd
app-text/libwpg
app-office/libreoffice
dev-db/mariadb
Don't you wish that you had the fucking brains to use Gentoo
instead of having to rely on that distro junk?
Well, maybe some day...
Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!
