Are you still using an engraver to solder?
Remember you, the tech savvy person could not tell the difference between

That was back when Gremlin was saying you need a solder if your hard drive is dead. LOL!

He might want to review the time line of events before lying so openly as
he's done here. I didn't know at the time the machine had a bad HD - We hadn't even got that far yet. As everyone who was around when the discussion took place already knows - I was going by what he wrote.

That he had someone look at the machine and they determined it had a
problem with the mainboard. So I asked him about the tools he had on hand
or otherwise had access to in order to troubleshoot and make repairs at that level. That all took place well before he was able to try turning the
machine on and reporting back the results.

He literally makes shit up as he goes and hopes nobody notices, or,
remembers what actually took place and when it did. And he tries
this stupid shit on usenet of all places. What a fucking dumbass.

As for Self soldering - that video isn't showing soldering or welding
taking place. He doesn't know fuck all about those subjects either!
You don't weld with high voltage and high amperage available.
The objective with welding is to join metal together with fusion
    - not fucking vaporize it. FFS!

You also can't deweld a weld - that's what the grinder is for.
You can desolder a bad solder point, because you aren't joining them
    with fusion.

The video is showing a bad connection that hasn't pulled enough of a
load yet and hasn't made a good connection to ground to trip the
breaker or blow the fuse. It is however energizing the conduit
    - potentially all of the conduit in the building putting people
in harms way. It's also damaging the wiring as well as the socket
and the junction box. Along with the end of that piece of conduit.
This how people get hurt and property gets fucked up.

It all looks good from my house though. :)

    it is that hilarious!

    :) That it is!

No diagnosis and you wanted to solder. That is very poor troubleshooting on your part.

Gee, ya' think? LOL! Wow, you must be an expert to figure that out. Seriously, it is hilarious how poor your reading comprehension is.
