• Performance: From The Horse's Mouth

Every kernel source contains a documentation file called "Documentation/admin-guide/kernel-parameters.txt."

    Check line 3806:

"Disable all optional CPU mitigations. This
    improves system performance..."

Holy godzilla mutherfuckers! The kernel developers
themselves actually state that shutting off CPU
    mitigations will improve system performance.

There you have it. There is no doubt. Those stupid
    mitigations will definitely degrade performance.

But ALL distros -- and that is *ALL* distros -- will
be shipped with the full suite of CPU mitigations
    totally ENABLED.

Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!

But this is only one of many other performance-degrading
    options that ALL distros employ.

As a consequence, all distro lackeys are using deliberately
    crippled systems.

    Bon apetite.

Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!

Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!

The stupified lackey, with his "surfing" and email, could
    never notice.

Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!

Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!
