This should be an easy question to answer with Google, but so far I
have failed...
I have a small program (actually written to try out LLM assistance for
the first time) written in Python with Tkinter and ttk. I very rarely
use tcl/tk myself.
I can see that it is making some use of the X11 resource database,
because it picks up my default background colour (light brown), and I
can change that by setting the tk*background resource.
I can't see how to use X11 resources for anything else, though. And I
can't see even by grepping the tcl/tk source code where it's picking
up the background colour!
Is it possible to do any control of colours in a tkinter application,
or more generally any tcl/tk application via the X resource database?
Is it possible to specify the names (in the Xrm sense) of tk widgets -
does the className do that
