    Would a WSL version be of any use? It should work there?

    The compiled NSF for tcl 9.0 should work on windows without WSL.

    The problem wasn't nsf2.4.0 rather msys2.

    I deleted and installed msys2 new.

    Now nx 2.4.0 is working.
