• What's up with teacup?

So I build Tcl, Tk, and Itcl locally from a fossil checkout..

    No prob..

    I then get teacup.exe from https://teapot.activestate.com/entity/name/teacup/index

I rename and drop it in to C:\Tcl\bin\

I create and register a repository I created under lib with my tclsh86t.exe

    All great so far..

Then I do a teacup list and get:
    0 entities found

Problems which occurred during the operation:
    * http://teapot.activestate.com :
301 Moved Permanently 301 Moved Permanently

    Uh oh..

    I can see stuff though

I think teacup/teapot has been dead for a long time.

    When I want a "batteries-included" Tcl install I go to: http://www.ch-werner.de/cgi-bin/luck.pl
That is still on v8.6 though, not 9.0 yet.

    Dear David,
great to hear from you !
Even if you find things on the teacup, they are from 2010.

We have some current batteries included distributions:
    - BAWT
    - Magicsplat TCL
    - UndroidWish

Maybe, this is a way to go...

    Take care,
    Harald

    Hello Harald,

I'm happy to be recognized, thank you. I am getting into the hobby again
from my long absence. To distribute the app I am working on, all I need
is Tcl and [Incr Tcl] to bootstrap it. It won't be a starkit. But I
plan to have users extend it. teacup with a small graphical thing
around it would have been perfect. It's not really that "I" need a batteries-included package, but my users will need something.
