    What is python-oracledb?

    python-oracledb is a Python extension module that enables access to Oracle Database for Python and conforms to the Python database
    API 2.0 specifications with a number of enhancements. This module replaces cx_Oracle.

    Where do I get it?

    https://pypi.org/project/oracledb/2.3.0/

    The easiest method to install/upgrade python-oracledb is via pip as in

    python -m pip install oracledb --upgrade

    What's new?

    This release adds support for a new VECTOR storage format (BINARY)
    available in Oracle Database 23.5. It also implements a number of other requested features and corrects a number of reported bugs.
