Re: How to delete a stuck Email?
By: Diamond Dave to All on Sun Aug 11 2024 09:05 am
It looks like one of my users tried to send an Internet Email, but it is stuck and I can't figure out how to delete it out of the system.
The error message is in the format of
SEND Message #4065 from <user@dmine.net>
to 'person's name' <mail@domain.com> - in transit
How do I either 1) get it out of transit or 2) just delete it.
You can read about the in-transit attribute (how to clear or ignore it) here:
https://wiki.synchro.net/faq:tcpip#send_mail
To delete mail, use smbutil or the "mail" sysop command, but that should not be necessary in this case.
