Wolfies still here.. Now running Telegard.. :)
Winserver has excellent potential if it's upgraded to current web standards. It's web interface needs a total re-code. Responsive theme
is a must to be smartphone compatible.

We still like and use WildCat. It serves our purpose just fine. Do
wonder why we have little or no problem with wcLISTSERVER, but
Santronics has not sent us anything on their mailing lists since
sometime in 2016.

Yeah, and it looks like they are not answering any of me emails anymore, either. It has been that way for about a year and a half now.
Winserver has so much potential. But it needs a complete html
interface re-code to today's web standards. And a smartphone app to replace it's antiquated Navigator.
I use and prefer WildCat! v4.2, DOS flavor. :) It runs great under
WinXP in a VM. Does Messaging and handles Qwk and File transfers
just fine. Plus I have WCCode for those custom mod's you can't live without!

Not just a smartphone app, but a desktop one as well. Perhaps I can
convince a
Russian friend of mine who is an iDevice developer to at least come up with
a client for Apple iDevices :)
Ran that 4 nodes of Wildcat V4 under Dos / Desqview on an old 386.
Rock solid combination.
Fidonet should consider supporting html and JavaScript. Possibly a nodelist flag for systems that support it.
With the mess Farcebook has turned into, folks will be looking for alternative communities to hang out in. I feel with it's text only interface Fidonet is beingheld back. My opinion anyway.

Same here. wcListServer delivers our power usage updates on a daily
basis to both my husband and myself like clockwork :) No more having
for forward any of the emails I get to him :)

I disagree with your first point. There is already enough garbage in certain Fido echos already. We don't need to add more.
FaceBook would be better if everyone would just take care and moderate their groups there. I run the OS/2 Warp Users group on Facebook and
before anyone gets approved for membership, they get asked to detail
their experience with OS/2 and it's clones before I approve their membership.

Did you receive the message I posted for you in the winserver list,
others replied so it is working.
You can check at SSI website if your email/domain is black/gray listed
if you didn't receive the message.
