  • Clear screen before messages

    I've been messing with my stock vadv setup, starting to customize it and one
    of the first things I started looking into was setting it to clear the screen before each message. Somehow I did this on my old VBBS setup, but can't seem
    to figure out how on the new setup.

    I did look thru default.s and found the "network" and "local" strings, but
    they are not the first output for the message, the message count is what
    seems to start the message

    I did do source mods back in the day on my VBBS setup, so maybe I managed to
    do it in the source.

    If you're on the VADV group on FB you might want to try posting this tehre since I know that Steve Winn is on that group and might be able to help.

    I know that if you set Enhanced ANSI on in the user profile, then this will happen (screen clearing when reading messages). Also might want to make sure that you have real names toggled on in all of your Fidonet areas.
