Works. Multimail does not underrstand it but at least does not mangle
it. MultiMail delegates answering to NotePad and NotePad does
understand it. ... MultiMail, the new multi-platform, multi-format
offline reader! --- MultiMail/Win v0.52
I also use MultiMail/Win 0.52, but I can't see the UTF-8 characters.
They all became square boxes. (My Windows codepage set to 65001 UTF-8)
How to correctly show UTF-8 characters in Windows consle?

In my editor (GVim), UTF-8 characters are not mangled, too.

Hello Peicheng,
In addition to seting the code page to 65001, you also have to select a TrueType font like Lucide Console.

Thank you for the information.
I tried to use Lucida Console and several other fonts, still showing boxes..
That's a limitation of Multimail. I don't believe you'll ever be able to use UTF-8 properly in that application, but if you use an external editor that supports UTF-8 you should be able to read/write it properly.
