Deluxe, I thought I'd give it a spin on my Win10(x64) box. I was

fido deluxe, send me a detailed bugreport, and I will fix/change it.

However, the included version of BinkD is *very* old(0.9.7), so I've replaced it in my own setup with a newer version(1.1a-49). As I'm a
bit "rusty" with BinkD, I'm not sure if I actually need any of these utilities at all.
[..]Ahm, okay. Well, fidopoint deluxe uses some closed source pascal units. Those are not compatible with freepascal nor then lazarus. I've tried to compile the sources, but, as expected, those closed source units aren't available any more. A few years ago I talked with michael about theese problems, and he was not able to correct or fix the code for freepascal. Maybe he didn't wanted, I honesly don't know.

Have yo compiled a win10 version with the sources?Having had a look at the .dof files, it looks as though the original
was compiled with Delphi. As I'm not a programmer, I wouldn't know
where to start with setting up a more modern build environment(Lazarus perhaps?). So, the answer to your question is "no".

Probably it might be easyier to write a complete new fpd with lazarus, intended by the original fpd.

Otherwise, nice program. Like nl2binkd by Markus Reschke. :)Well, nl2binkd is a perl script. As a perl script, nl2binkd needs a perl interpretation environment. A perl environment is usually available with linux and bsd, but is not widely used on Os/2 (Ecomstation/Arcanoae) and Windows.

And no, because an other port than 24554 wasn't common in 2005.
On 2004 I started to programmed tiroute. During that time IBN was not
used n the nodelist, only PVT nodes where used for binkd connections.
Also I have to port tiroute to english.

My personal skills are more with c than pascal. I'm able to
patch and correct some lines, but I haven't enough time to
do some more on the code.
Obviously, the old fpd runs on win10,win7-32/64 and all
other windows platforms. Currently this should be enough.

So you like to keep us guessing I see.
Ok, have the files and now looking for the package out there that
is the matching released version (or close to it) to give me an
idea of what and how it runs.
Already see a couple of key units missing but will research what
missing and see what can be done.
Take it this package was a pretty good point system?

Just open a github repo, and we'll start a rewrite.
My skills with pascal are not very high, but to support an
compile a new fido packet deluxe for OS/2 and Linux/Unix it

Not some proper supported ones. The husky-suite needs to be updated, but husky doesn't support CDP, an automatic point-adding and point creating procedure.Just open a github repo, and we'll start a rewrite. Are there currently no point software for OS/2 Linux Currently?

Well, you won't be able to compile the sourcefiles, because of some missing units. Michael, the developer of fpd has used some commercial turbo-pascal units. Theese commercial units are not included in the sourcetree.https://github.com/torbam1/fido_paket_deluxe_2018
I understand that the files are under the Source directory.
How do I compile them?
