  • PCBoard SMTP Gateway

    Hi all!

    I was wondering if someone had come up with a WORKING PCBoard<->SMTP
    gateway application that will allow a PCBoard realtime Internet email
    and quite possibly newsgroups from an NNTP source? I know there is
    PCBNNTP, but that was written for RIME/RelayNet and not third party
    NNTP-based Usenet newsgroup services?

    IIRC there was instructions in the manual with v15.22, on how to setup
    PCBoard for UUCP.

    Personally I have only used UUCP gateways to send/receive mail, but the gateways are rare today. Mark (mark lewis) does have an UUCP gateway,
    but isn't using PCBoard.

    Yeah, I have a UUCP gateway working for Internet Email and newsgroups
    on my Wildcat! 4.2MP system. It's awesome doing UUCP<->TCP/IP <G>
