  • RLogin to Synchronet Game Server

    Forgive me if this has already been asked, but is there a way to rlogin from Mystic directly to a door game on a Synchronet game server? I can rlogin to
    the game server itself fine, but was hoping to launch the Synchronet game directly. Synchronet is looking for a "xtrn=<door-game-code>” command in rlogin and I tried “/term=MSWEEPER” without any luck. I’m running
    version 1.12 A46 of Mystic.

    Thanks for the quick reply! I still can’t get it to work with Gold Mine or
    a new Synchronet install, so I’m guessing that the “/term” command for rlogin was added after version a46 of Mystic. It may be time to upgrade...

    Yeah, it looks like that was added in A47.

    First one tells you how to setup synchronet to act as a game server. The second is a replacement script that will auto create a new user on the game server and log the user onto the game server.
    This is how my bbs is setup for games that require a 16bit / dos enviroment.
