    Well I don't think that is is going to go away too soon. Don't forget that with 7.1 sound you can't stream that. So the only way if you have
    a 7.1 or 7.2 sound system you need either HD or 4K, (and eventually
    8K), media to play 7.x ATMOS systems.

    That and there is a LOT of stuff out there that you can't stream at all...

    I've thoguht about changing my Netflix to 'stream plus DVD' - even if only
    one at a time... Just to see stuff I can't stream...

    Well after about two months I finally got Star Trek DIscovery, Season One, Disc One from Netflix. I reserve judgement on the "New TreK" until after I watch the first two seasons. Though, I see a lot of people and aliens die!
