    Moving to MEMORIES...

We've never had one in my town, but they do still advertise on TV so I am guessing they are still in business.

Clarksville Indiana had a Denny's for a long time but it closed this year.

There used to be one near Suburban Hospital that I frequented when I had friends that worked there. I have not been by there in years so I don't
know if it is still there or not.

I haven't been on Breckenridge Lane in that area for a long time.

Another subject: Across the Ohio River from Shawnee Park , the Gallagher Station Power Plant will be dismantled. My home is near it.
When they Imploded the Boiler Room Saturday Oct. 18 it shook my house.

The Denny's is/was on the street that connects Breckenridge with Browns
Lane... Dupont, I think. I used to have family that lived off Breckenridge just south of there, but they moved so I also have not been down that way
    in a long time.

Used to frequent the Village 8 Theatre down in that area, too, but I have
not been there since before I moved from Louisville (1997) and I think
Village 8 may be gone now.

I was shocked to learn several years ago that the Showcase Cinemas on
    Bardstown were long gone.

Wow!! I had forgot there was a power plant over on that side of the river in that area. With all of the plants along the Ohio that are being dismantled,
I wonder where the power will come from to replace what they were producing?
