    Marimba jazz is cool. Just don't hear much of it on the local/internetional (because you can listen to the station on the INternet as well) Jazz station, WUMR. That's ok, though. It's still a great Jazz station.

    They used to play Marimba Jazz as background music when I would attend a conference dinner or eat at a nice restaraunt. The Marimba is a very fun instrument to play. When I was in High School I took first place during the state band competition with an arrangement of the Eurythmics' "Here comes the Rain again". Was fun but I ws sweating like a politician during a florida recount.

    I've also done a lot of vocal jazz in college.
