Henry VII, King of England, became king by defeating Richard III at the Battle of
Bosworth Field in August 1485, ending the Wars of the Roses.

Margaret Anjou, Queen Consort of England and France, at times led the Lancastrian
faction. She ruled England during her husband's bout with insanity.

John Butler, 6th Earl of Ormond, a participant at the Battle of Piltown.

John de Mowbray, 3rd Duke of Norfolk, important to Edward IV's victory at the Battle of
Towton.

Thomas FitzGerald, 7th Earl of Desmond, who participated in the Battle of Piltown in
support of the Yorks.

Sir Richard Neville, 16th Earl of Warwick, known as "the Kingmaker," helped to make
one king and depose two.

Henry Stafford, 2nd Duke of Buckingham, played a major role in King Richard III's rise
and fall. He is also one of the primary suspects in the disappearance (and presumed
murder) of the "princes in the tower."

Andrew Trollope, knighted by Edward of Westminster and killed at the Battle of Towton.

Sir James Tuchet, killed at Battle at Blore Heath when he tried to lead an ambush.

Elizabeth Tudor, though her marriage to Henry Tudor, was able to bring the houses of
York and Lancaster together.

Perkin Warbeck, pretender to the throne who impersonated one of the "princes in the
tower."

Richard III, King of England who was deposed and killed at the Battle of Bosworth Field.
The last English monarch to die in battle.
