If you check out the linux branch from the git repository there:

    https://sourceforge.net/p/fmail/code/ci/linux/tree/

I will fiddle and see what it will take to make OSX build...

If OSX has a gnu compatible c compiler, it shouldn't be too difficult for the fmail and ftools modules.
I notice there is a Mac OS X version of the codeblocks ide, which I use to compile the windows and linux version, although quite old. So probably yes.

However the fconfig module is a completely different beast. I have yet to convert that to linux...

    Bye, Wilfred.

I will start with fconfig then - to contribute ;-)

Linux FMAIL reads same file structures as W32?

Minus the Hudson mbase requirement, thank you. And allow for JAM netmail area(s), if you please. A singular *.msg netmail area would still be desired.

I would like to think that Wilfred ought to concur with all, as discussed previously. Did I forget something, Wilfred?

Linux FMAIL reads same file structures as W32?

Yes. FMail/lnx can presently _only_ be configured by a Win32 configurator.

    Cheers,
    Paul.

Yes. I use FConfig on a virtual Windows XP, to configure FMail linux.

All it needs on the linux side is a shell variable that sets the linux path that replaces the drive letter, in configured paths.

    Wilfred.

Those are separate items from the wish list. They have nothing to do with the FConfig linux version.

That's just my personal collection of fmail "release" files on my hd. You access it through my slow adsl connection at home. I use it to get out the beta
and linux (which is beta) versions.

It is in no way the "official" download site. You need to go to sourceforge for
    that:

Good to hear that it’s still in development.
