Kids can be cruel... One might wonder just how good the other kid is NB>anyway... If it's something that he really wants to do, I'm glad that NB>he's willing to work for it... :)

And, I thought they were cruel over 45 years ago, when I was bullied in elementary school. It pales to what they undergo now. :(

I was bullied in school too and at least I was able to get a rest by going home
and back then there was no social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook. feel fortunate for that but my heart aches whenever I hear someone being bullied... but secretly cheer for those people that beat up the bully :)

For that matter, there wasn't even the internet back then...and when I was in high school (where the bullying continued), BBS's weren't even around yet.

Dunno... the means for bullying may have changed some over the years,
but I'm not sure how much the actual bullying has... It could be pretty intense even back when I was a kid... and from what I've heard, from my
parents and my grandparents experiences, in their day(s) as well..

Bullying is nothing new... But I guess I do have to agree that the
social media stuff puts a new layer on it... :( And makes it harder
to escape from, unless one ignores things like Twitter and Facebook like

That's usually the case, I suppose... Fortunately, most people manage
to survive the ordeal... :) And, perhaps, are the stronger and/or the
better for it... :)
