christmas I decided to step up to an iPhone 7 Plus.
Battery life sucked and the battery was not changeable.
it's fancy 2 rear camera feature that would not allow 16x9 shots.
After a week of evaluating the POS i sent it back to Apple.

Well, if you turn the camera sideways it takes a landscape photo :)

Dude! You didn't! Oh well, different strokes for different folks
{chuckle} I totally geek out with mine, and yes, I used an Android,
too, and MUCH prefer the iPhone 7 Plus I have. :)

After using an Android smartphone for seemlingly forever this christmas
I decided to step up to an iPhone 7 Plus.
I went the other way. Started out with an iPhone 3GS, then went to a
4S, which I still have as a second phone. Made the switch to Android

I'm using a 6S and it seems fine to me, first model was also a 3GS.

I was turned off by not being able to take 16x9 ratio photos with the iPhone 7. Don't know if Apple ever added this capability.
The aspect ratio is still 4.3. 16x9 is the web standard for things like YouTube cover photos, etc. Apple might have updated the firmware to allow 16x9 shots since i had mine.
Iphones have shot 16x9 since the iPhone 4. Even a few acadamy award winning short films have been shot totally on the iPhone. The 5 was
the first to add full 1080p HD. I shot my cousins funeral service with
it so his mom could see it.
An app is needed to crop to 16x9. Google it up..

I don't use the stock camera app... I use a .99 app called Camera Pro
that functions more like my DLSR. Just because the stock app does not handle 16x9 does not mean the camera can not handle 16x9. In fact,
much like the Android community, if you would have asked the Apple community they would have guided you to a few apps that work better
than the stock camera App... most of them free. I just like the one I
use because it mimicks a Canon EOS.
I also noticed many iPhone apps do not have the go back toggle when making configuration settings. My Android has a go back toggle to back out of whatever you were doing.
Dont forget no headphone jack
Dont forget no headphone jackThat is marketing, remove the headphone jack & sell users a $50
gadet...
