  • Allfix 6.0 to 5.13

    I have created a downgrade program that should take the setup.fix file and convert it down to a version 5.13 file.

    This is available on the ALLFIX.COM website.

    Please let me know if you encounter any issues with it, and please remember to BACK UP YOUR DATA FIRST before running this program.

    Your program seems to work fine -- as long as ALL files from 6 are in the directory. I first tried with just the setup.fix file and although it reported 18 to 15, it didn't actually do anything. I then copied the entire allfix folder to a work space, and ran the downgrade. It produced a v5 setup.fix, but I'm nervous as I can compare the 2 to see what actually changed (there have been some changes since I switched to 5 and I don't want to lose them!).

    While you're doing utilities, and don't have a life <g>, how about a small fix to 5 so I can use the global command in fileecho manager to change a blank destination directory to something...right now I can't change an empty field :-(

    LOL.. I'll add that into the v7 programs. I do not have a way to do to much for
    v5 programs.
