    Irex also does binkp. The binkd daemon eats a lot of memory, though, but it can still do outbounds ok (or it could last I used it, which was earlier this year).

    binkd memory usage is negliable.

    Sorry, I meant that the *IREX* binkd daemon eats a lot of memory, at least under OS/2.

    The stand-alone binkd daemons running under linux have been easy on memory
    here also.
