I'm lucky if I get 10 calls in a day between the two BBSes... and most are other sysops.

it's like people dont want it to be so so that's how they see it. it's some kind of weird denial.

3-4 people is the same as having no people in my book.

I'd be in too if you started it back up again. I went offline before covid and a friend of mine asked me turn it back on during covid to get some of the old doors going again (including FE, but by the time I got it up most of the leagues were dead).

I'm sure I have a few people that would jump in.

You might not, but this BBS has at least 4 participants, aside from myself, who are not sysops. Three of them check, and often participate, in
echomail daily. The fourth plays LORD and posts some in the local areas.

My older DOS BBS has at least 3 regulars. Two are not sysops, and I don't think the third is. They mostly just play door games and don't call daily.

Yeah, that is way down from this time 30 years ago, but they do still exist.

That is about the same average here. I enjoy the message threads and read almost all of them silently, in the last few years I have started replying to a few of them. I am glad you and the others are still here. I do not like `social' media. I only use it to connect to distant friends and family, and
to point a few people to my BBS so I can have fun with a few door games I have been playing since the 90s. I am glad you all still operate a BBS.

Same here,

I check my BBS 3 times a day. I can remember a time when it had 20 or more calls a day and now 6 is a heavy day. I am ok with that. I am glad I still have a dozen of my regulars to play games with and message. Telnet makes it possible for me to check it on the go, so I really like that. I had it offline for a few years but still got news and some message feeds and I enjoyed it more than social media ever. On social media I feel like someone is always watching me `0-0` I hope you are all alright and in time I will come to visit each of your BBS's.

maybe since your bbs is such a gaming legend you should make your own i used to join leagues but they were ran by guys who didn't know what
