I've tried installing multiple different versions of Daydream on
multiple different versions of AmigaOS. For some reason, any time a Daydream rexx door is launched, the BBS freezes. SnoopDOS doesn't give
any indication why it's freezing or where it's getting hung up.
I've confirmed rx is in my path, I also manually copied it to c: to be sure.
Not having used Daydream, does any of this help?
Do you have the following in your user-startup:
sys:system/rexmast >NIL:
sys:rexxc/rxlib rexxsupport.library 0 -30 0
Not having used daydream, does it also require something like this in
your menu file/config? (This is from Zeus)
===
options results
parse arg line
call addlib("rexxsupport.library",0,-30,0)
[...]
cmd_t:
clidoor '"rx doors:rexxdoor/rexdor"'
cmd_n:
callscript 'main/sendnodemsg'

Thanks for the help! Yep, I have both of those. Normal rexx scripts run fine, but the daydream interpreter is causing problems and I can't
figure out why.
Thanks for the help.
Kickstart/OS versions?
Kickstart/OS versions?
Through some trial and error I was somehow able to get it all working. Still not sure what the silver bullet was, but it works. *shrug*
Thanks for the help, though.
Did you document what you did? Care to share? I've never seen a Daydream system. It also didn't help that rudi did his usual tricks with the
latest versions. That put me off even trying it out, as there is no
chance of getting past the restrictions.
