• Alternatives for Google comp.lang.tcl =?UTF-8?B?Pw==?=

    Just after Google dismissed https://groups.google.com/g/comp.lang.tcl, I discovered and I started using

    https://www.rocksolidbbs.com/devel/thread.php?group=comp.lang.tcl

    Personally I consider this BBS quite usable, but I'd like to hear from you if you can suggest other alternatives.

    Thank you.

    Google disconnected their 'groups' from Usenet. comp.lang.tcl did not
    change, or go anywhere, because it was never google's to start with.

    A real Usenet newsreader (which also provides a killfile so you can
    setup your own filters to block articles you don't want to see):

    And a free Usenet account:

    Hi, I have set up a web interface to Usenet groups at https://cmacleod.me.uk/newsgrouper .
    This works for any non-binary group, including comp.lang.tcl . I am posting this reply
    through it. It is still quite rough and I am in the process of rewriting the user interface,
    but it is a possible alternative.

    Thank you! This is useful. I was recently asking around for something
    like this.

    This has a lot of potential and looks interesting. One thing I noticed
    is that it doesn't interact well with mobile devices, especially with
    respect to input.
