    no... not a good one that is reliable... definitely not for w3x... the ones attempted for w9x barely worked if they worked at all... when m$ with with the NT type format, that's when things were able to be done properly...

    i certainly would not be trying to put any w3x or w9x systems on the internet, either... that's fail just waiting to happen...

    neither... the original question was about telnet server... not mail conversion...

    to clarify the term "telnet server", the OP is asking about a telnet shim like OS/2's SIO from ray gwinn, the x00 author... in the winwhatever world, that would be netserial and/or netfoss...

    there is no good virtual modem shim for win3.x or win9x... i've already stated that... none was available until winNT and then it still took years before anything good came out...
