NOCTILUCENT CLOUDS OVER ANTARCTICA: This just in from NASA's AIM spacecraft: The sky above Antarctica is glowing electric blue. A ring of bright noctilucent
clouds has formed around the South Pole. The annual apparition of these clouds is one of the earliest on record, and may hint at the workings of climate change. Visit Spaceweather.com for more information.

    Good news....bad news!

    First...the `good' news:

The Antarctic sea ice hasn't `shrunk' in a 100 years or so!

According to *NASA*...`Antarctica is not currently contributing to sea level rise'.-`Mass gains of Antarctic Ice Sheet greater than losses'.

    Now...the bad news:

Scientists have descovered that Antarctic sea ice has not really changed from what it was around 100 years ago. Analyzing the log books of two explorers who sailed on two ships exploring the region in the early 1900's, conditions are almost identical now as they were then, which indicates that (as I've said
many times) the decline and gains are a regular occurence, part of a natural cycle...and NOT the result of `global warming' as has been claimed!

BTW....the dates at which time climate `scientists' (and politicians) said the ice would disappear, have come and gone....but the ice remains!

    Al Gore! Call your office!

    Heh heh heh!!!!

Oh...by the way...it snowed recently in a spot in Japan that hasn't seen snow this time of year in about fifty years!

    Imagine that!

As an aside, I'm not a believer in global warming, but I have to print the articles as I get them without editing them.

You were the one who stated more than once that you wouldn't post in here again
and I took you at your word those times because people can forget. Speaking of
forget, let's not forget I'm the moderator here and what I say goes. If you cherish an ounce of truth and truly believe you aren't getting it here, start your own echo. As I've told you before, I'll even help you get it started.

You were the one who stated more than once that you wouldn't post in here RN>again

    I've since changed my mind.

Why should I impose silence on myself just to avoid a conflict with `your'
    ego?

The cheating on the part of NASA (a supposedly `scientific' outfit) and
several cheer-leading squads for the UN (supposedly accredited scientists)
puts what they do and what they claim in the realm of *Science Research*, part and parcel of the title and (oft-stated) purpose of this echo.

Falsifying scientific data is news which belongs in the area of `science research'...as it greatly affects such research.

Reporting falsified data in the realm of science; not just `reporting' it, but actually `doing' the falsifying; certainly merits attention. The strongest possible attention. It affects everyone.

And a media (this echo) that purports to be concerning itself with `Science Research', is certainly a proper place to point out the falsity of such
    claims.

I am on-topic, within the parameters of the stated title of this echo.

If you wish subjects that fall into the sphere of the title of this echo to
NOT be discussed....then change the title of the echo to something else.

I will be glad to offer a few suggestions for titles if you so desire.

    Feel free to ask.

In the mean time...the title is *Fidonet Science Research*...and *science research* is what I shall post on!
